{Emma's One Year Sneak Peek}

 Our little girl has grown so much and is acting so grown up. It's strange to think of her as a toddler and not a baby. She walks really well now and tries to run. She loves climbing stairs, outside, our cat boo, her paci, nap time, fruit, yogurt, water bottles....she has her own little schedule going. She likes to take her naps at the same times everyday and she tells me when she is ready for bed. Her b-o-t-t-l-e is gone and she hasn't even missed it. She still does not care for sippy cups and I've tried them all! She drinks water from MY water bottle all day. She can drink small amounts from a tumbler and feed herself with a spoon or fork. She isn't talking much. She says "mama", "dadda", "hi", "this", and "uhh" for everything else :) She grabs her brothers phonics cards and says the sound for "t". She bows her head and closes her eyes for family prayer. She and "kitty" (Boo) are best buds and they play together all day. She makes us laugh everyday and she is such a joy to us all.

Could not get rid of that paci, but caught a few shots and we're looking for more warm weather to take a few more.

{I'm still here}

I have not vanished! I am just a little.....preoccupied! It takes some getting used to a new baby in the house. Even though Emma is our 4th, it has been a couple of years since we've had a baby around. No more spontaneous trips to the stores or library. No more all day trips to "mess around" with my kids. Everything has to be carefully planned and timed :)  I did really well on my fist trip out with all 4 of the kiddos. I fed Emma right before we left. She was a good girl......wanted to be held, but she was quiet. :)
I can't wait until my jogging stroller gets here. Shipping has been delayed and it should be here tomorrow! The kids and I love to walk around town. (There are 2 new fabric shops downtown and I am dying to check them out.) Jensen's Grove, a really popular spot, is a great place to walk as well, because the kids can take their bikes and ride around the lake.
Anyways, we are adjusting well to little Emma's presence. She is such a blessing to all of us. The kids enjoy holding her, kissing her, rubbing her.....she's lucky if she can sleep 10 minutes without someone touching her! The kids cannot walk by her bassinet in the living room without stopping to get their hands on her :) I learned this morning that she hates silence! I left her in the church auditorium (asleep in her car seat) while I stood outside with some of the ladies while they waited for their rides. I opened the door to check on her and she was SCREAMING! As soon as I picked her up, she went back to sleep and she's been asleep for 2 hours. Apparently she doesn't like it quiet! :)
Well, visit back soon! I'll  be doing another photo session with Miss Emma now that her skin quit peeling :) Photos will be coming soon!

{My Sweet Girl's Photos @ Home}

I'm no pro at photography, but I do like to save money and I enjoy taking pictures!
Taking photos at home can be fun and easy.
I pick a room in the house that has plenty of natural light coming in or we go outside! :) You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to get great pictures. Just have fun, relax and enjoy making memories with your family!

This is my sweet baby girl @ 1 week.....in the living room. I set her on a soft fuzzy blanket while she slept and took tons of pictures at different angles and then chose my favorites :)

I ordered a 20x30 of this one....

This was taken in my bedroom, on the bed with my sheet draped over the headboard....she's propped on her boppy.....

on the boppy covered with a fuzzy blanket....

sweet angel....

 I love when they yawn!
