{Losing It Week 17}

So here I am after week 17. I hit a stand still in my weight loss April 19-May 14. I know, not long right? WRONG! When you are eating healthy, working out, counting calories, watching macros, and doing everything you know to do, then 4 weeks seems like forever! Anyways, after going weeks with no weight loss, I decided to try something different. Juicing!!! Ever heard of it? Well, it is a great way to get tons of vitamins, fruits and veggies into your diet, heal your body and lose weight. I started juicing seriously on May 14th. I originally wanted to do the juice fast, but I have juiced the majority of the time and have healthy lean protein and veggies for a meal when I feel like I need it. After a good workout I just really feel like I need more than juice. So, that is what I have been doing lately and here is my progress for the week.....

As you can see (below), since I started juicing I have lost almost 1 lb a day.....

I'm Losing It! {11 Week Update}


So...11 weeks!!! Hard to believe it has already been that long since I started this journey! I don't know if you get tired of my before and afters, but I have to say that it motivates me to keep going once I see my progress side-by-side. When I look in the mirror it is hard to see the change, so that is why I take a picture every week. It lets me know that what I am doing is making a difference and it also says, "Keep on keepin' on!" I look at these pictures and automatically think, "I can't wait to workout today. What healthy things am I going to eat this week? What new workout can I pick up to help me in 'that' area? Oh, I can't wait until I reach my goal for this week, month, year..." 

My Stats so far.......

Weight:
 Starting weight:             228 lbs
11 week ending weight: 198 lbs
                          Total:    30 lbs

Bottoms- 18/20 down to 14/16
Shirt: XL down to L

I am now back down to pre #4 pregnancy weight!!! Now to get down to pre #3 pregnancy weight....62 lbs to go......

I'm Losing It! {10 Week Update}

I know I'm slacking on my updates! A lot going on here at our house. My youngest (12 mos) has had Rotavirus for 3 weeks and my oldest (8) has been having health problems that has kept us very busy.

So, on to my weight loss. I've lost a total of 29 lbs so far and 35+ inches all over. I feel amazing! My health has improved drastically. My confidence has been boosted to a height I never could have imagined. I made my way into the weight room last night for the first time. I was so scared before and just finally told myself that no one was going to stand in my way anymore. I had so much fun lifting and working out my whole body. I also spent 40 minutes on the elliptical....why is that so special? Well, 3 weeks ago I tried the elliptical for the first time and I had to get off after just 3 whole minutes. I hurt so bad. It was NOT fun! So 40 minutes for me is a huge milestone. I am determined to push myself beyond comfortable. If it hurts, that's when it works! haha I just came up with that myself!

I tried the Body Pump class this morning for the first time. LOVED IT! What a workout! If you don't know what Body Pump is... check it out HERE.

You may be thinking..."I can't workout in front of others" or "I'm scared I can't do it". Friend, let me tell you. Look at me! See my picture above? Look how heavy I am. It's not about how in shape you are or how small you are. It's about how strong you are inside. How bad do you want to be healthy and fit? If I can do it, You can do it! It takes a little while to build up to where you wan to be in your workout routine. So, start small and build on that. Before you know it, you will be out doing the skinny girl beside you on the treadmill :)

I'm Losing It! {7 Week Update}


7 weeks complete (almost 8). I've been out of town, so a little behind on updating you all. I'm excited to tell you that I reached all my goals this month and have a new goal that is challenging me to give it all I've got. I am now down 25 pounds! I feel great! Working on putting together a menu to share on here, so stay tuned :)

I'm Losing It! {6 Week Update}


I'm excited to reveal my 6 week before and afters! I have enjoyed the journey so far and I am looking forward to the next 6 weeks! I can not tell you just how much better I feel all around. My health has taken a 180* turn for sure. My husband says he feels like he has a brand new wife :) For those of you that haven't been following my Weight Loss Journey...I was battling depression very badly and was extremely dizzy, tired, weak, sick all the time. All of those symptoms have vanished and I am a new woman!

I do workout an hour and a half everyday. I feel amazing afterwards and full of energy. My goal this week is to try a class at the gym. I'd like to change up my routine at the gym to keep things interesting. I also want to be able to run 1/2 mile without killing over :D Running has never been my thing, but I'm thinking I need to change that....stay tuned to find out if I reach my goal ;)

I'm Losing It! {4 Week Update}


I'm so excited to share with you my 4 week results from My Shaklee 180 Turnaround!!! I have to say that I feel so much more confident now. I feel smaller. I feel energized. I love this "diet". I love the shakes! I stay satisfied! I don't have the cravings that I used to. Junk food doesn't even tempt me anymore!!! I enjoy planning healthy meals for me and my family. I'm serious about reaching my weight loss goals and wish to help you with your goals as well.

I'm Losing It! {3 week Update}


Tomorrow marks 3 weeks since I started the Shaklee 180 Turnaround Challenge...I've lost 13 lbs and a total of 14 inches!!! I have so much energy, I feel smaller & happier, and I LOVE this challenge. It is by far the best thing I've ever tried and it's EASY! I am a busy mom of 4 kids ( 8,7,5, and 10 mos). So, it is important that a diet fit to my routine. I used to find myself skipping meals, because of time, or I would grab junk food while on the run. Shaklee fits me! I can make a smoothee or grab a meal bar, snack bar, or healthy snack when I'm on the go. I'm seeing the results and I don't even want junk anymore. {Happy New Year to Me}

One of my New Years Resolutions..... I've joined Body Turnaround Challenge! I want to get rid of this extra weight that I am carrying around. After having 4 babies, I think it is time to take care of myself. I feel it's not only physical, but emotional and mental for me. I'm not happy being in this shape. I want a healthier, happier ME :)
