I'm Losing It! {10 Week Update}

I know I'm slacking on my updates! A lot going on here at our house. My youngest (12 mos) has had Rotavirus for 3 weeks and my oldest (8) has been having health problems that has kept us very busy.

So, on to my weight loss. I've lost a total of 29 lbs so far and 35+ inches all over. I feel amazing! My health has improved drastically. My confidence has been boosted to a height I never could have imagined. I made my way into the weight room last night for the first time. I was so scared before and just finally told myself that no one was going to stand in my way anymore. I had so much fun lifting and working out my whole body. I also spent 40 minutes on the elliptical....why is that so special? Well, 3 weeks ago I tried the elliptical for the first time and I had to get off after just 3 whole minutes. I hurt so bad. It was NOT fun! So 40 minutes for me is a huge milestone. I am determined to push myself beyond comfortable. If it hurts, that's when it works! haha I just came up with that myself!

I tried the Body Pump class this morning for the first time. LOVED IT! What a workout! If you don't know what Body Pump is... check it out HERE.

You may be thinking..."I can't workout in front of others" or "I'm scared I can't do it". Friend, let me tell you. Look at me! See my picture above? Look how heavy I am. It's not about how in shape you are or how small you are. It's about how strong you are inside. How bad do you want to be healthy and fit? If I can do it, You can do it! It takes a little while to build up to where you wan to be in your workout routine. So, start small and build on that. Before you know it, you will be out doing the skinny girl beside you on the treadmill :)
