"Not Just {a mom} is my place where I can share my creativity, experiences, family photos and updates, DIY projects, homeschooling, healthy recipes and my personal weight loss updates, books that I love to read…..It’s my outlet! I love my family beyond words and love to share my children’s milestones, family excursions & our everyday life.  

I began blogging September 2008. We traveled a lot and I wanted a way to keep track of all the memories we were making. We are so very far away from grandparents and family, so it is a nice way for them to keep up with us too. Recently I have been blogging about my personal weight loss journey. I wish to be an encouragement to many women would struggle with their weight or those that just want to eat healthier. I frequently post healthy recipes that I am eating to get fit, healthy and shed some pounds. I also have some of our favorite recipes that my family enjoys on the blog as well.

I enjoy blogging very much and hope to be an encouragement to you and many others."
